Storyline
The youth theatre group at Berliner Schaubühne perform the children's opera Brundibár (Hoffmeister & Krása, 1938) created in the Terezín-Theresienstadt concentration camp. Greta Klingsberg, one of the few survivors of the original cast, travels to Terezín with the group, and the Holocaust, a word that they had only read in history books, becomes a reality. Although all of the children come from difficult family backgrounds, they gain new perspectives on their own lives.
