Storyline
Two women, two stories.
Adela leaves her hometown near the Basque Country to begin a new life in Madrid, with her one-and-a-half-year-old son. She immediately meets Inés, a young woman of the same age who is looking for a flatmate, and she moves in with her. Yet a terrorist attack while she is on a bus will completely shatter her life.
Antonia owns a local neighbourhood grocery store. She has three grown daughters: Helena, Nieves and Inés, Adela's flatmate. Antonia leads a happy, peaceful life. Little by little, however, things start to get shaken up.
