Storyline
1942. When the Vichy’s authorities decide to close down Elna’s Maternity Home, which gives shelter to pregnant women arrived from the surrounding refugee camps, its young director, Elisabeth Eidenbenz, and her right hand woman Victoria, (a Catalan exiled whom she rescued from Argelers), will be willing to sacrifice everything to keep it running, except their own ideals.
