Storyline

Diana’s List’ is a documentary film about an outstanding woman who, during World War II launched and conducted with her associates a charity at an unprecedented scale. Diana Budisavljević, born Austrian, moved to Zagreb after marrying Julije Budisavljević, a doctor from Zagreb. When she heard about the torments of children in ustaše concentration camps in 1942, she decided to take action. She initiated a charity in collaboration with Professor Kamilo Bresler, at that time employed at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Dragica Habazin, a Red Cross nurse, Jana Koch, s communist illegal, and many other collaborators. The action spread throughout the Second World War and saved 12,000 children’s lives.
