Storyline
Documentary that deals with its subject matter Yoga from different perspectives: It traces the origins of the meditative Indian gymnastics and researches its influence on the modern movement of mental and physical wellbeing and the western zeitgeist. In addition, the film introduces the creators of modern Yoga: It features historical film material showing the founding father, Krishnamacharya, in combination with interviews with his pupil Pattabhi Jois, who passed away during the shooting of the film, and with the legendary yoga-techer Iyengar.
