Storyline

Salvador Dalí managed to turn himself into a whole industry. But the "Dalí Factory" started to fail at the peak of Dali's fame, just when the art market was demanding more works than he was able to produce. Blank sheets, watercolors and oil canvases painted by other artists, but signed by Dalí, kept the art factory churning over, with the help of four secretaries who were in charge of the artist's business affairs: Captain John Peter Moore, journalist Enrique Sabater, aristocrat Jean Claude Du Barry, and photographer Robert Descharnes. In this documentary, they disclose the facts for the first time.
