Storyline
This is the story of incredible determination and indomitable will of Petr Koukal, a world class badminton player who, despite undergoing surgery to remove a cancerous tumour and suffering post-surgical complications, struggled to continue on with an intensive training programme, culminating in his participation in the 2012 London Olympics. Based on a story written by Petr‘s motivational coach and long-standing family friend, Ivan Křenek, and directed by Vladimír Barák, The Dream Journey of Petr Koukal is a joint production of HBO Europe and Total HelpArt.
