Storyline

A woman’s drama, “Brava” follows Janine who lives a relatively untroubled life despite her mother’s recent death. But one day she’s attacked in the subway and witnesses a rape. From then on, her easy-going life, which she begins to call into question, begins to fade.

“’Brava’ turns on how to survive grief, how a woman must learn to handle emotional anesthesia, which is a contemporary and urban sickness that affects all of us,” said Aguilar.
