Storyline

An Indian girl who has lived all of her young life in an orphanage - which is also a boarding school for privileged girls from Bombay – one day decides to climb the spiral stairs to the office of Mother Superior Adelina, the head of the school.  She goes to her to ask for a set of parents.  Asha had seen, time and again, how her schoolmates’  parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents would come and pick them up on holidays and at vacation-time, and they would later return laden with new clothes and presents.  Mother Adelina is able to find adoptive parents for Asha and she boards the airplane in Bombay, with her big suitcase in hand, and heads for Barcelona.  Her new parents meet her on the tarmac at the airport and there begins her life with her new family.
